METER MADNESS ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM
The 2008 Texas Pipe Tapping Contest will be held in San Antonio, TX on March 27th during the Texas Water 2008 Conference and Exposition.
With intramurals beginning at the AWWA Section level, water utility teams race to open a cement-lined, ductile iron pipe and install a tap. The national competition is held at the AWWA Annual Conference in Atlanta.

PIPE TAPPING RULES
The "college bowl" of the water industry, TopOps tests the everyday know-how of water treatment operators, with questions approved by the Association of Boards of Certification (ABC). The national competition is held at the AWWA Annual Conference every June.

WEAT OPS CHALLENGE
WEAT conducts this annual event to recognize excellence and professionalism in wastewater treatment operation, maintenance, laboratory, safety and collection systems personnel. All teams will compete in all events. Each event will be judged and scored separately against established criteria. The scores of all events will be totaled and the champion team will be selected. Five separate competitive events will be held:
